1. Fanjita lives again by releasing the 2.80 compatible eloader .995

2. Free Running, a much awaited game in the “unique” category of games, has just been announced as a 2007 title (originally a way early 2006 title i believe)

3. The dreaded TA-086 motherboard has been confirmed as fact and not a fan made hoax

4. Sony releases yet another survey concerning firmware updates, this time with the scarcely used Location Free Player feature. Unfortunately Sony didn’t include an “i don’t want and have never wanted the Location Free Player option in the survey”, so it looks like it’ll still be in future updates.

5. Official Playstation Magazine has announced its final issue as a January 2007 issue.

As the 3.0 estimated release date (tomorrow supposedly as i have heard from numerous places on the net) draws even closer, more and more speculation appears. Questions like “will 3.0 be the last update?”, “is sony planning to make firmware bootable from memory stick?”, “will features be removed from the psp?”, and of course the most annoying question of all, “CAN 3.0 BE HACKED” (to all who ask this question, i only say this, “wtf are you talking about noob, of course 3.0 is hackable!”)

Anyway, expect a major news update when 3.0 is released tomorrow (if it really is tomorrow that is)
