for my xbox 360.... no rrod, but graphical corruption and freezing upon booting...
i will miss her.... until i get it opened and redo the cooling/clamps....

Can u send it back in? Man the 360 failure rate is crazy. Thats preventing me from getting one so far. And I dont kno wat games to play on it yet.

but yeah, glad you got at least a temporary fix (who knows if the fix will hold up or if it's a more pressing issue with the unit)

well, it was definatly an overheating issue, as there was no rrod, just graphical corruption when the unit was warm/hot.... an hour cool down allowed playback for a while until it warmed up...
also, the thermal compound on the chips was all dried out/useless.
also, the heatsink pads were gooey.... so i guess another 2 years before i have to do it all over again.

wow, it bit the big one again, and rutrned to life again (this time bayonetta killed it.... during the end credits!)
i now have this one as a throw around as i just bought an elite system (hdmi finally!!!)
