Ok so this is a remake of the original Lunar game but i have to say, not too bad for a psp rpg.

turn based like every JRPG now adays but has a crapload of anime cutscenes which I like. Cheesy storyline though.

i noticed they used the psone remake videos (only reason they are clear, but at 4:3 resolution)
as far as i can remember, even the original sega cd versions (and ps1/saturn remakes) were turn-based.

story may be cheesy, but it's from the early 90's!

i like how clean the graphics are, and everything is crystal clear, but all the loads are annoying (going to have to transfer to iso and umd loads are slow)

audio quality is probably the best it's ever been.

surprised gamearts didn't commission a studio to redo (or add on to) the animation sequences to take advantage of the 16x9 screen.

this is supposed to be the definitive version of lunar, with new stuff added (like the entire beginning boss fight after pressing start)

considering i have 1-2 hours a day to do everything i want (catch up on anime, which the anime network is not helping by adding too much, and too many downloads to watch, gaming, internet) i really haven't had the chance to spend the amount of time i want to on this game.

yeah, this game is crazy long, already logged in 8 hours, found out i'm about halfway through roughly

but yeah, i read more about the game's history and the whole intro is an add-on, supposed to supply a bit of a backstory to the game. but man, the game is crazy fun as an RPG. and yeah, definitely ISO loading times are short, maybe 5 seconds for a mapload and 3 seconds for a cutscene load.
